Flower Care

Taking care of your cut flowers:

  1. Cut 3-5cm off the stems at a 45-degree angle once you receive them.
  2. Remove lower foliage.
  3. Place in a clean vase, with fresh water.
  4. Add flower food if available.
  5. Change the water every other day and re-cut the stems each time.
  6. Remove dead or wilting leaves and stems to keep the arrangement looking fresh.
  7. Keep the vase filled with fresh water, to ensure the flowers do not dry out and wilt.
  8. Add fresh flower food if available.
  9. Display flowers in a cool spot, never in direct sunlight, or near a source of heat.
  10. Never place your flowers near fresh fruit or cigarette smoke as both produce ethylene gas which will shorten the flowers life.
